Turn GetPivotData Formula Off

The most common question that I get about the GetPivotData formula is, “What is this weird formula, and how do I turn it off?”

If that’s your question too, this short video has the answer for you. You’ll see how to turn this setting off or on, and there are written steps on the GetPivotData page on my Contextures site.

Select Specific Pivot Table in GetPivotData

If you love the GetPivotData function, the video below shows a handy formula that lets you select data from a specific pivot table in your workbook.

In this example, there are multiple copies of a pivot table in the workbook, on three different sheets. I combined the GetPivotData function with the Excel INDIRECT function,  to pull values from a specific pivot table, based on its Region name.

Watch this 4-minute video to see the steps, and the written details are on the GetPivotData page on my Contextures site.
